Do you live in the Gainesville District?

Unsure if you live in the Gainesville Magisterial District? You are not alone. I frequently meet people who aren’t familiar with the districting for our county. Some people who have a Gainesville address actually live in the Brentsville District versus the Gainesville District. Depending on which part of Manassas you live in, you could be in the City of Manassas (outside the county), or a county resident in the Gainesville District, Brentsville District, Coles District or Occoquan District. Most Haymarket residents reside in the Gainesville District, but part of Haymarket is located in the Brentsville District. Redistricting over the years has also confused residents.
