Landrum Drowning, Grasping at Straws Brian Landrum of Woodbridge is feeling the pressure – his poorly run campaign has resorted to desperate attacks against Gainesville, her voters, and Patrick Harders.
Friends,
It seems that Woodbridge local and Data Center favorite Brian Landrum has thrown another attack at you and our campaign. My only reaction after reading is that he thinks my behavior from my teenage years is bigger news than him moving across this county while Supervisor Weir was on his death bed. Surprise, Brian — we Gainesville voters are smarter than you think. Brian wouldn’t know that, since he hasn’t lived here and just parachuted into the Gainesville District a matter of weeks ago. Today, my opponent stooped to a new low.
As a teenager, I made some foolish decisions. At 51 years of age, I look back at that time and use it as an example for my kids of how not to behave. I’m a self-made person who had to work for everything I own. As a business owner, and as a home owner, I’ve paid all my taxes and worked to make all ends meet. Brian Landrum did a lot of digging to uncover the fact that I’m just a normal person — the biggest difference between us, though, is that I care deeply for Gainesville and her voters.
This is not the time for juvenile behavior. These are serious times, and we are facing serious issues in the Gainesville district. Brian can talk about my high school shenanigans if he’d like. But I’ll stick to fighting the developers backing his campaign. Let’s send Brian packing his bags home to Woodbridge — don’t forget to vote at Bull Run Middle School from 10AM to 5PM this Saturday.
