Republican Women’s Club Presidents

Michelle Baker, Martha Hendley and Mary Jo Rigby have spent the last few decades working to elect Republicans in the Gainesville District. 

Today, the three Bull Run Republican Women’s Club former presidents announced their support of Patrick Harders in his bid to win the Gainesville Magisterial District Supervisor position.

Republicans will choose their November candidate on Saturday, August 16 at Bull Run Middle School in a special election to finish the term of Supervisor Bob Weir who passed away last month.

Polls open at 10 am and close at 5 pm. Registered voters who live in the Gainesville District can cast a vote.

I support Patrick Harders because he has fought for the Gainesville District. He has a vested interest in seeing it succeed because of his roots. When a storm comes, a tree with deep roots can face the moment unlike a sapling that may get pushed around as the wind blows. Men with deep roots stand tall like the trees in our community. Gainesville residents have pulled together time after time to protect our special district from outsiders who see an opportunity to change it. Our roots give us our identity.
